Stability and mobility assessment

  • This allows us to sit down with you to discuss your goals for Pilates, any previous or current injuries and your current medical history.
  • We will perform Whole Body Postural Analysis of you. This will include a postural assessment, flexibility measures and strength and stability tests. We will have a look at your abdominal muscles on our Real Time Ultrasound and make sure that you are correctly activating these muscles.
  • We will also familiarise you with our Pilates equipment to ensure that you are ready to start attending classes.
  • After this Assessment we will be able to recommend an appropriate class for you to attend.
